T-Shirts, Get Your T-Shirts!

by Brian Patterson » on Oct 16, 2011 16

We’re so excited to introduce our first two t-shirts to you, the members of the MyFiveFingers.com Community. They are entitled ‘Go Barefoot’ and ‘Yes, They Are Comfortable’.  The minimalist shoes and barefoot movement is growing like crazy, and we want to contribute to this awesome community with some great gear.

Let us know what you think of these shirts, and by all means, if you like them – buy one or four.

‘Go Barefoot’ T-Shirt

The people we previewed this shirt to absolutely loved it. Its a throwback to those old puzzles we all did as kids, and people really seem intrigued by the concept.  When you buy this one, let us know what comments you get while wearing it!  You can pick it up here (its on a high quality American Apparel t-shirt, available in lots of colors).

‘Yes, They Are Comfortable!’ T-Shirt

As FiveFinger wearers, we’ve all been asked this question a billion times.  You know a stranger is going to ask it as soon as they make eye contact with you…. “Are those things comfortable?”.  Do they think we’re gonna say “no”?   :-)

Now people will look at your shoes, look at your shirt, and then laugh… as if you read their mind.  You can grab one here (and again, its on a high quality American Apparel t-shirt, available in lots of colors).

I really like the Bear + Foot one. I just purchased one and will probably get another one for my girlfriend. Her birthday is next month and I think she’d like one. I’ll get here the “Comfortable” ones so we don’t match…

Sounds great – she’ll love the shirts. You can go wrong with American Apparel, they are sooo soft and comfortable.

They aren’t the most asked, but these are the first 2 we chose to release. One is a question, the other just a thought :)

To be honest, I LOVE the idea of tshirts coming out, but (maybe it’s just the graphic design degree) I’m not too crazy about the designs. I wouldn’t buy one based on the designs, but again, I do love the idea. I’d love to come up with some barefoot shirts :) Might have to come up with some on my own!

    Hey, Brian!

The shirts look great. I want to make a proposal to you. I go to school in Washington, DC. DC is an athletic city, there are always runners on the streets, crossfit was created there, and if there is a new thing out there involving fitness, Washingtonians are among the first group of people to invest in it. I go running a lot, play rugby, and hit the gym at least five days a week–all while wearing my five fingers. I’d be a great promoter for your t-shirts, as a lot of people stop me when I’m either running or working out and ask me about my Vibrams.

I’d very much like to promote your shirt, as well as this website. Would it be possible for you to send me a few shirts? In exchange, you’d get excellent PR from me and my friends (vibrant, friendly college kids who also wear five fingers). Hey, we might even be willing to wear them out to bars if you’d be alright with that.

When I’m not in DC for school, I’m based out of New York City; my friends are from cities across the country.

    So, what do you think?

Shoot me at e-mail at j.b.e.8491@gmail.com

    Best,

    Jason

Today I wore my blue “Yes They Are Comfortable” T-Shirt to the gym and no one said anything. After the gym I walked to the grocery store and people looked at the T and still no one commented. People in San Diego don’t go out of their way to talk to strangers. I will post when someone is brave enough to talk to me about the t-shirt.

    Cheers

Hi Brian. Great T’s! Ask that you consider using Sustain U to manufacture the t-shirts. They use recycled fabrics & employ American workers. Please note that I don’t have a vested interest in this company other than promoting sustainability & helping employ workers. Thanks.
