These Cities Have No Shortage of the Latest Health Trend

by Kat » on Jan 17, 2019 0

It’s no secret that city living comes with its perks– especially in regards to dining. From 5 star restaurants and food delivery services to the long list of bars and breweries to choose from, it’s impossible to run out of places to eat and drink in big cities.

But even if you’ve taken advantage of the wide array of dining options your city has to offer, you might not be aware of the health-related perks that come with city living. In addition to having far more gyms and workout classes to choose from, larger cities also have much healthier eating and drinking options, like vegan restaurants and juice bars.

Vitagene recently conducted a study and determined some of the best cities for juice and smoothie bars across the U.S. And if you drink juice like water or have daily smoothie cravings, we hope you’re fortunate enough to call one of these four cities home.

If you’re ringing in the new year with a juice cleanse, Atlanta is a great place to be. With so many juice and smoothie shops to choose from, it could take a while to try them all, but at the very least, be sure to check out  Root Pressed Juices, Juice Heads, and Kale Me Crazy. These spots have some of the highest ratings in town.

Are you a smoothie lover from Phoenix? You’re in luck. Phoenix has plenty of smoothie and juice shops worth trying. Among the most popular are Paradise Juice, Kaleidoscope Juice, and Juby True.

And if you’re looking for something a bit more substantial, why not try an Acai bowl? All of these shops offer their smoothies in bowl form.

Los Angeles

With so many fitness gurus and health-conscious celebrities living in such close proximity, it’s really no wonder that the smoothie/juice craze is alive and well in Los Angeles. But if you live in the City of Angels and are just now hopping on the fruit-based beverage bandwagon, these are the smoothie shops worth visiting: EarthBar, NatureWell, Lifehouse Tonics + Elixirs, and Green Grotto Juice Bar

Given that it’s one of the most popular vacation spots in sunny Florida, it’s no surprise that Tampa has loads of smoothie and juice shops to choose from. After all, there’s something about warm weather and being on vacation that makes drinking a smoothie seem particularly appealing.

But which juice/smoothie shops in Tampa are worth checking out, you ask? Well, Raw Smoothie Company, Squeeze Juice Works, and Xtreme Juice are all great places to start.
