This was taken on St. John Island this past summer. I wore my Vibrams for a hike and we encountered this colorful fella – a Frangipani caterpillar, a quite long one at that.  I invited him to climb aboard my VFF and he did.  Then he wouldn’t let go.  Took a good deal of gentle shaking to persuade him not to become my Vibram hood ornament.
