These Are the Cities You Want to Be In If You Love Brunch

by Kat » on Sep 26, 2019 0

Brunch is more than just a meal — it’s become more of a weekend event that everyone looks forward to throughout the week. Brunch involves bottomless mimosas, all types of eggs, pancakes, and more. In addition to the good eats, it’s often a great way for friends and family to catch up with one another after a long week, after church, or just as a nice start to your day.

The price of brunch varies as well depending on where you are, what you order, and the quality of the restaurant you’re at. And getting a full meal with drinks alongside will obviously be more expensive than just getting a meal. With that being said, just how much is it to order brunch?

Sky Blue Credit recently analyzed the price of brunch in cities across America. They found the most and least expensive cities for brunch, mimosas, and a whole meal (with coffee included as well for the caffeine lovers).

The least expensive brunch meals (not including a drink) range from just $7.20 to $9.27. The cheapest option is in Portland, which is followed by Virginia Beach and San Antonio. The most expensive brunch meals reach up to a shocking $15.06, which can be found in Seattle. If you live in Seattle and you love brunch, sorry! You’ll most likely be paying more every time you go out. If you live in Portland, however, take advantage of the cheap brunch meals while you can!

Wherever you are, it’s likely that you won’t be paying much more or less than the prices found in the analysis. Keep in mind, though, that these prices are just the average price. If you find yourself at a restaurant in Seattle that offers a $10 brunch or a restaurant in Portland that offers a $15 brunch, don’t be surprised — it’s probably just an outlier. Enjoy your brunch!
