Hardworking Entrepreneurs Turn to Minimalist Running and Crossfit

by admin » on Jan 29, 2014 12

CrossfitIt’s no secret that CrossFit and minimalist shoes go hand in hand. When you’re throwing yourself fully into the kind of full body, animalistic, intensity that CrossFit requires, wearing clunky sneakers seems likes a direct contradiction.

It’s a Type

Crossfit and minimalist running also both seem to appeal to a certain type of athlete. Someone who works out to get in tune with their body. Someone who is looking to be pushed to their absolute limit. Someone who doesn’t care what anyone thinks, who will do whatever it takes to sweat.

It’s funny, but this type is commonly found in the world of business or finance. Entrepreneurs and thrill seeking investors are often the very same individuals you’ll see grunting next to you in Crossfit, extolling the virtues of eating Paleo, and sprinting through snowy city streets in a ragged pair of FiveFingers.

A recent article in the UberOffices blog noted that CrossFit is pretty much the ideal workout for the time pressed, hardworking, motivated entrepreneur or small business owner.
