I have a question.I’m going away for vacation next month and I’m in the process of training for my first half-marathon. I’ve always wanted to try FiveFingers and I thought this will be the best time. I have recently changed to Vibrams and Chi running. 3 weeks ago I broke my small toe. I RICE’d my toe for two days, then started running short distances in Asics. No pain – or very little. Did 15 kms in Vibrams – felt fine. Did a 7 k trail run in Vibrams and now the pain is bad along the topside of my foot from little toe to ankle. What could have caused the damage?
